Rory Morse, teacher
I live and teach in Wasilla, Alaska. I teach fifth grade Writing and
Social Studies at Iditarod Elementary School. Wasilla is the fastest
growing community in Alaska. Wasilla is home of the current governor of
Alaska, Sarah Palin. She was Sen. John McCain's running mate for Vice
President in the last election. I have a very good impression of Texas.
I was born in McKinney, Texas, which is just north of Dallas. I lived in
several places in Texas. I went to high school in Conroe, which is north
of Houston. I lived in Texas 15 years before moving to Alaska.

Danielle, student
My name is Danielle I go to Iditarod elementary school in Wasilla,
Alaska. Wasilla is cold, we're going to have three feet of snow for
spring break. I think Texas is hot,
has tornados, and is half as big as Alaska.

Anne, student
Hi, my name is Anne. My town that I live in is Wasilla. My
school is Iditarod Elementary School.
It is very cold here, and the Iditarod starts in the town near here. We
have about a foot of snow here.
How I think of Texas is very hot and has a lot of mexican food.
